Academic Prof. Shlomo Shamai (Shitz) - Technion
Shlomo Shamai (Shitz) is the William Fondiller Professor of Telecommunications at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
His research interests encompasses a wide spectrum of topics in information theory and statistical communications. Prof. Shamai is an IEEE Fellow and a member of the Union Radio Scientifique Internationale (URSI). He is the recipient of the 1999 van der Pol Gold Medal of URSI, and a co-recipient of the 2000 IEEE Donald G. Fink Prize Paper Award, the 2003, and the 2004 joint IT/COM societies paper award, and the 2007 IEEE Information Theory Society Paper Award. He has served as Associate Editor for the Shannon Theory of the IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, and also has served on the Board of Governors of the Information Theory Society.
Prof. Amir Averbuch – Tel Aviv University, Yale University Amir Averbuch is a professor at School of Computer Science at Tel Aviv University and a visiting professor at Yale University.
His research interests include Applied harmonic analysis, signal/image processing, Wavelets and multiresolution analysis, efficient numerical computation, data mining via dimensionality reduction, solution of partial differential equations (PDEs) for physical problems and MIMO communications systems. During 1976-1986 he was research staff member at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center, Yorktown Heights, New York. Prof. Averbuch published 155 papers in referee journals, 9 chapters in books, 122 conference papers and 13 patents
Prof. Dov Wulich – Ben Gurion University Dov Wulich is the Luck-Hille Professor of Electrical Engineering at Ben-Gurion University, Israel.
His main research topics are: processing of non-stationary signals, time varying filtrations, phase locked loops, OFDM, the peak factor problem and MIMO systems. He serves as a consulting engineer to the major Israeli communication companies. during 2001-2004 he served as the chairman of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Ben-Gurion University. Prof. Wulich published one book, over 90 technical papers and 5 patents on different aspects of communications and signal processing.

Eyal Eshed is a high-tech entrepreneur with a vast knowledge and expertise in early stage companies management and a very strong technology background. Eyal was the co-founder & co-CEO of Omnivee, a revolutionary viewing method creator, stitching multiple live video feeds into a single extreme resolution panoramic live video feed. Eyal led the business from concept to commercial success, multiple prize winning product and an eventual acquisition. Currently Eyal serves as a partner and board member at several technology companies and as the CEO of SpeakingPal which he co-founded. SpeakingPal develops a platform and service for the improvement of English speaking skills using a cellular phone. Earlier in his career, Eyal was a project manager at Chromatis Networks, that was acquired by Lucent Technologies. Eyal holds a BA in Computer Science with cumma sum lauda from IDC, and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
